Customer Obligations

As the customer, you are obliged to ensure we have a suitable working environment for us to work in. This includes:

Level Access: We require easy, level access (which means no stairs) from the loading area to the location we’re serving from. If we’re not on the ground floor, we need a suitable service lift to get our equipment to the correct floor. The unloading area should be easily accessible for our medium sized van. Our equipment can’t go up stairs or be lifted by people. Our equipment also can’t go over unsuitable ground such as cobbles, gravel, grass etc. as it can get stuck. Please check the route to ensure we can get to our location easily. The location we’re serving from has to be flat, and not have an incline.
Hand wash facilities: We require hand wash facilities on site, as this is a food hygiene requirement. Please ensure there are some available. If you are a corporate customer who is doing an exhibition, please speak to us about our solution for exhibition halls.
Shelter: We have a mobile ice cream cart which can be used inside, or outside if the weather is suitable. If outside, we need suitable shelter provided for us. We don’t have shelter which can keep us dry from rain, or shaded from the sun. If there is not any shelter, we may not be able to serve our ice cream outside.
Electricity: We need access to electricity to run our equipment. We’ll have a 10m extension lead with us. Please see details below on the requirements of electrical power.
Bin Waste: We’ll usually have 1 large bin bag at the end of service which we’ll need to dispose of and can’t take with us. This will need to go in a general waste bin at your site.
